This polyclonal rabbit antibody recognizes MCM10 (Minichromosome Maintenance Protein 10), an essential eukaryotic replication factor that stabilizes the replisome during S phase and helps recruit DNA polymerase alpha to origins of replication. Produced by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG primary antibody, it is supplied at 50 µl per vial and validated for Western blot detection of endogenous MCM10 in human, mouse, and rat cell lysates.

The polyclonal profile broadens epitope coverage compared with monoclonal reagents, which is useful when working with MCM10 splice isoforms, post-translational modifications, or truncated fragments that may escape single-clone recognition. The unconjugated format lets end users pair it with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries according to the detection chemistry of their experiment.

Recommended handling includes brief centrifugation before opening and aliquoting on first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-stabilized stock. Store at -20°C for long-term activity; working aliquots kept at 4°C remain stable for several weeks when protected from contamination. For Western blot, 20–40 µg of total protein per lane is separated by SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF, and probed at working dilutions commonly between 1:500 and 1:2000 in TBST, with the MCM10 band migrating in the 90–110 kDa region of the gel.

This reagent supports studies of DNA replication licensing, S-phase checkpoint control, replication stress, nucleotide-excision repair, and cancer cell-line panels in which elevated MCM10 expression correlates with proliferation markers and prognostic indicators.
