Anti-MCL1 Antibody

MCL1 (Myeloid Cell Leukemia 1) is a key anti-apoptotic member of the BCL-2 protein family that regulates mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization and programmed cell death. This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against the human MCL1 target and validated for use in Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows.

The unconjugated reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species studies in apoptosis and oncology research where MCL1 overexpression contributes to tumor cell survival and chemoresistance. It is supplied as a 100 µl liquid in TBS buffer (pH 7.4) supplemented with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol, with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. For ongoing western blot and IHC experiments probing BCL-2 family dynamics, aliquoting upon receipt and refrigerated storage at 4 °C is recommended to preserve antibody activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
