Anti-MBD2 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against MBD2. The antibody is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is provided as a liquid formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

The immunogen used was a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 202–411 of human MBD2 (NP_003918.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 53 kDa. The manufacturer's datasheet lists Western blotting (WB) as a validated application, with a recommended dilution range of 1:200–1:2,000, and indicates reactivity with Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
