Anti-MB Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against MB, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent. The antibody is produced in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen; one formulation reports a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. It is provided at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.

Depending on the variant, the reagent is validated for Western blot in combination with immunohistochemistry and/or immunofluorescence, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples or with human samples alone. The antibody detects endogenous levels of total MB protein, with a target molecular weight of approximately 17 kDa reported for one variant. Immunogens used across the range include recombinant full-length human MB, recombinant human MB protein, and a synthesised peptide derived from the internal region of human MB. Reagents are shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
