Anti-MB Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to Myoglobin (MB), offered by Antibodies.com, is supplied as an unconjugated liquid IgG preparation. Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples, and the reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with recommended working dilutions of 1:100–1:500 for both applications. The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–154 of human Myoglobin (NP_005359.1) and was affinity purified, and the product is supported by three scientific validation images. Myoglobin has a reported molecular weight of 17 kDa. The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is shipped at 4°C for storage at −20°C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is lot specific.
