Anti-MaxiKβ2 (I186) Antibody

The MaxiKβ2 protein is the regulatory β2 subunit of the large-conductance calcium- and voltage-activated potassium (BK) channel encoded by the KCNMB2 gene. Auxiliary β subunits such as β2 shift BK channel calcium and voltage sensitivity, modify gating kinetics, and influence pharmacological response, with documented roles in vascular smooth muscle contractility, chromaffin cell secretion, and neuronal firing patterns. Polyclonal antibodies raised against the I186 region of MaxiKβ2 support studies of subunit expression, tissue distribution, and channel remodeling in cardiovascular, neuroendocrine, and urogenital research.

This Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2.
