MATK (Megakaryocyte-Associated Tyrosine Kinase), also referred to as CHK or HYL, is a non-receptor Src-family tyrosine kinase predominantly expressed in hematopoietic lineages including megakaryocytes, platelets, and lymphoid cells. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit against MATK and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Each vial delivers 100 µl of unconjugated antibody, suitable for western blot detection of endogenous MATK in human and mouse samples, as well as immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections. As a negative regulator of immune receptor signaling, MATK is frequently studied in the context of B-cell and T-cell receptor pathways, making consistent detection valuable for immunology and hematology research. The glycerol-containing formulation supports storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw damage, while the sodium azide preserves the reagent for routine short-term handling at 4 °C. Researchers investigating Src-family kinase signaling, thrombopoiesis, megakaryocyte differentiation, or lymphocyte development will find this polyclonal reagent a practical tool across both WB and IHC workflows.
