Anti-MASP1 Antibody

Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody recognizes mannan-binding lectin serine protease 1 (MASP1), a key serine protease of the lectin pathway of complement activation. MASP1 circulates in plasma associated with mannose-binding lectin (MBL) and ficolin recognition complexes, and upon pattern-recognition binding to pathogen surfaces it autoactivates and cleaves MASP2 as well as complement component C2.

Provided as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approx. pH 7.2) containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative. The unconjugated reagent has been validated for western blot detection of endogenous MASP1 in human, mouse, and rat sample lysates, supporting cross-species work on innate immunity, lectin pathway deficiency, and MASP1-mediated fibrinogen and factor XIII cross-linking relevant to clot formation. Store refrigerated; aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
