Anti-MART-1 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised against MART-1 (also known as Melan-A), a melanocyte differentiation antigen widely used as a marker for melanocytic lineage and melanoma. The antibody is supplied at 100 µl as an unconjugated preparation for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows.

It cross-reacts with both human and mouse MART-1, supporting comparative studies in patient-derived melanoma samples and murine melanoma models. In IHC it can be applied to formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue to highlight melanocytic lesions, while in WB it detects the endogenous protein in lysates from melanocyte and melanoma cell lines. As a polyclonal reagent, this antibody offers multi-epitope recognition of MART-1, which is often preferred when broader antigen coverage is needed over monoclonal clones.
