Anti-MARS Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets MARS (also referred to as MetRS/MARS). It is supplied as a liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is provided in unconjugated form.

The antibody has been validated for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), with recommended dilutions of WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. It reacts with Human samples, and the manufacturer's datasheet additionally reports reactivity with Rat.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–270 of human MARS (NP_004981.2), and the antibody was prepared by affinity purification. The target protein has a molecular weight of 110 kDa. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
