Anti-MARCKS (phospho-S163) Antibody

From Antibodies.com comes a rabbit polyclonal antibody that recognises MARCKS when phosphorylated at Serine 163. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, it is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human MARCKS surrounding the Ser163 phosphorylation site and specifically detects endogenous MARCKS only when phosphorylated at this residue. Reported molecular weights for the detected species are approximately 32, 75 and 87 kDa. The reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
