Anti-MARCKS (K152) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this primary antibody recognizes MARCKS (myristoylated alanine-rich C-kinase substrate), a major substrate of protein kinase C that regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics, membrane trafficking, and synaptic signaling in neurons and other cell types.

The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative, and has been validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. Reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples makes it well matched to translational neuroscience and cell biology research, including studies of PKC-dependent phosphorylation in cultured cells and tissue sections.

Because the reagent is polyclonal, it recognizes multiple epitopes on the native MARCKS protein, which can improve detection of the target across different experimental preparations.
