Anti-MARCKS (Ab-158) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, the Anti-MARCKS (Ab-158) Antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the MARCKS protein. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF)/ICC applications, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was generated by immunising rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 156–160 (R-F-S-F-K) of human MARCKS, conjugated to KLH, and subsequently purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide. It is reported to detect the endogenous level of total MARCKS protein. The product is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4°C; on arrival, it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
