Anti-MAPRE3 (phospho Ser162) Antibody [KT114]

The Antibodies.com KT114 clone is a mouse IgG2b monoclonal antibody that selectively recognises MAPRE3 (also known as EB3, a microtubule plus-end tracking protein) only when serine 162 in the C-terminal region is phosphorylated. Phosphorylation at this residue modulates EB3's interaction with plus-end binding partners such as CLIP-170 and the dynactin subunit p150^Glued, making the antibody a useful reagent for studying microtubule dynamics, mitotic spindle orientation, kinetochore-microtubule attachment, and neuronal growth-cone behaviour.

Supplied as 100 µg of liquid antibody in a vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, including formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue and paraformaldehyde-fixed cultured cells. For best results, store aliquots frozen at -20 degrees C or below, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and thaw on ice before each use.
