The Antibodies.com KT113 clone is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that recognizes microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 3 (MAPRE3, also called EB3) when phosphorylated at serine 162. This phospho-specific marker is widely used in mitosis, neuronal development, and cytoskeletal dynamics studies, because Ser162 phosphorylation modulates EB3 plus-end tracking and microtubule affinity. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µg liquid aliquot in a single vial and is validated for Western blot detection of phosphorylated MAPRE3 in human cell and tissue lysates. Recommended Western blot protocols load 20–40 µg of total protein per lane and incubate the antibody at roughly 0.5–2 µg/mL with HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG and ECL chemiluminescent detection. For long-term storage, the vial should be kept frozen at -20°C and divided into working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve phospho-specific binding activity.
