MAPRE2 (Microtubule-Associated Protein RP/EB Family Member 2), also called EB2, is a plus-end tracking protein (+TIP) that binds growing microtubule ends and regulates their dynamics during cell division, migration, and neuronal differentiation. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for western blot detection of the endogenous MAPRE2 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Immunogen affinity-purified IgG is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, and is packaged as 100 µl per vial of ready-to-use working stock. The antibody recognizes MAPRE2 by immunoblotting in lysates from proliferating cells and developing neural tissue.

Researchers studying microtubule cytoskeleton organization, mitotic spindle assembly, neuronal pathfinding, and centrosome-related disorders apply this antibody to characterize EB2 expression and changes associated with congenital symmetric circumferential skin creases or related neurological phenotypes. Store refrigerated; aliquot to reduce freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light to preserve antibody activity.
