Anti-MAPRE2 Antibody

A polyclonal affinity-purified reagent raised in rabbit against microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 2 (MAPRE2), supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG in a liquid vial. The reagent is raised against a recombinant human MAPRE2 immunogen and detects the endogenous MAPRE2 polypeptide, the ~37 kDa end-binding protein EB2 that localizes to growing microtubule plus-ends and partners with the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor during spindle assembly. Validated uses reported for this reagent family include Western blot, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and immunofluorescence on cultured cells, with reactivity demonstrated against human, mouse, and rat specimens.

MAPRE2 supports mitotic chromosome segregation and asymmetric spindle-pole movement, and it has been linked in published studies to pancreatic cancer perineural invasion, making the antibody useful for research into cell-cycle progression, neuronal microtubule dynamics, and tumor cell motility pathways. The unconjugated format allows researchers to pair the reagent with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies of their choice for chromogenic blotting, chromogenic or fluorescent tissue staining, and confocal imaging workflows.
