Anti-MAPKAPK-2 (Ab-334) Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against MAPKAPK-2 and targets a synthetic peptide sequence spanning residues332–336 (P-Q-T-P-L) of the human protein. The antibody recognises the endogenous level of total MAPKAPK-2 and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl aliquot of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with no Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺ present. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blotting and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of the MAP kinase-activated protein kinase 2 signalling pathway. The polyclonal host species (Rabbit IgG) ensures broad epitope coverage, and antibodies were purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide following immunisation with a KLH-conjugated synthetic immunogen.
