Raised in rabbit and supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com binds the dual-phosphorylated, catalytically active forms of the stress-activated JNK family kinases MAPK8 (JNK1), MAPK9 (JNK2), and MAPK10 (JNK3). The antibody recognizes the activating phospho-threonine and phospho-tyrosine residues T183 and Y185 on MAPK8 and MAPK9, and T221 and Y223 on MAPK10, providing a direct readout of kinase activation rather than total expression levels.

Validated for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows, the unconjugated immunoglobulin is reactive against human, mouse, and rat samples. It is routinely deployed to interrogate stress-activated signaling cascades, including apoptotic responses, cytokine-driven inflammatory pathways, and neuronal injury mechanisms where JNK phosphorylation serves as a key indicator of pathway engagement.

Because the reagent selectively discriminates the active kinase from the inactive pool, it pairs naturally with total-JNK antibodies for normalization, enabling ratio-based assessment of activation state in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.
