Raised in rabbit against the MAPK4 (ERK4) protein, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples. MAPK4 is an atypical mitogen-activated protein kinase, also known as ERK4 and distinct from the classical ERK1/2 enzymes, that has been linked to cell cycle progression, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and aberrant AKT pathway activation in prostate, breast, and lung cancer models. The 100 µl volume is supplied in a vial format sufficient for multiple blots and staining runs, and the polyclonal composition provides recognition across multiple epitopes of the target. Researchers investigating kinase pathway crosstalk, tumor signaling, or proliferation-associated biomarkers commonly apply this reagent to confirm endogenous expression patterns, validate knockdown or knockout efficiency, and map subcellular localization in fixed tissue sections and cultured cells.
