Anti-MAPK14 (phospho Y182) Antibody

Available from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises MAPK14 (p38 alpha) when phosphorylated at tyrosine 182. It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and supplied as a liquid preparation.

The manufacturer states that the reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding Y182 of human MAPK (NP_620581.1), with the core sequence TGYVA. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.3 containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The target protein migrates at approximately 42 kDa.
