MAPK13, also known as p38δ or SAPK4, is a stress-activated serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase family. It participates in cellular responses to inflammatory cytokines, environmental stress, and differentiation cues, and has been implicated in regulation of cell cycle progression and apoptosis pathways. Polyclonal reagents raised against MAPK13 are widely used to profile stress kinase signaling across tissues, primary cultures, and disease-relevant models.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous MAPK13 in samples of human, mouse, and rat origin. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, it supports kinase pathway profiling, phosphorylation-state analysis, and tissue-specific expression studies. The buffer formulation enables refrigerated storage; aliquoting on first thaw helps minimize loss of activity from repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and exposure to light should be limited to preserve reagent performance over the working shelf life.
