Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a non-phosphopeptide region surrounding serine 400 of the human MAP3K8 protein, allowing it to detect endogenous levels of total MAP3K8 without bias toward the phosphorylated form. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL and a pack size of 50 µL. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on paraffin-embedded sections, with reactivity confirmed against human samples, including COLO cell lysates and human brain tissue shown in the product datasheet images. The polyclonal host is Rabbit, the clonality is Polyclonal, and the conjugate is Unconjugated, making the reagent suitable for secondary-labeling workflows of the user's choice. For handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The antibody targets MAP3K8, also known by the synonyms COT, ESTF, TPL-2, Tumor progression locus 2, Cancer Osaka thyroid oncogene, Proto-oncogene c-Cot, Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 8, and Serine/threonine-protein kinase cot, supporting researchers studying MAPK cascade signaling, oncogenic transformation and inflammatory signaling pathways. This product is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
