A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the 947-amino-acid serine/threonine kinase MAP3K14, also known as NF-κB-inducing kinase (NIK; UniProt Q99558), a central regulator of the non-canonical NF-κB signaling cascade. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as 200 µl in a vial and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of B-cell maturation, lymphoid organogenesis, and inflammatory cytokine induction downstream of TNF receptor family members, CD40, LTβR, BAFF-R, and RANK.

MAP3K14 (Entrez Gene 9020) operates through TRAF2 and TRAF3 to phosphorylate IKKα, driving proteasome-mediated p100 processing to p52 and subsequent RelB/p52 nuclear translocation. The polyclonal reagent recognizes the endogenous kinase at its calculated ~104 kDa mass and pairs with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies in chromogenic or fluorescence workflows. Aliquot on first use and store at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycling of the IgG fraction.
