This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets MAP3K12 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 12), also called DLK (Dual Leucine Zipper Kinase), a serine/threonine kinase that operates upstream of MKK4, MKK7, and the JNK stress-activated signaling cascade. Manufactured by Antibodies.com, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous human MAP3K12 protein in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Intended for research use only.

MAP3K12 is widely studied in neuroscience for its role in injury-induced axon degeneration, Wallerian-like responses, and neuronal apoptosis following trophic factor withdrawal or cytoskeletal disruption. Research groups use anti-MAP3K12 antibodies to probe JNK pathway activation, characterize stress granule signaling, and investigate downstream phosphorylation of c-Jun and other JNK substrates in models of neurodegeneration, traumatic brain injury, and developmental cell death.

Provided as a 100 µl liquid preparation in a vial, the polyclonal rabbit IgG reagent offers broad epitope coverage and can be paired with HRP-, alkaline phosphatase-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent Western blot workflows. Aliquoting the antiserum upon receipt preserves reagent activity across multiple experiments and minimizes freeze-thaw cycles during long-term storage.
