Anti-MAP2K4 (phospho S80) Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab39403)

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes MAP2K4 (also known as MKK4, SEK1, or JNKK1) only when phosphorylated at serine 80, an activating mark within the stress-activated MAPK cascade. Ser80 phosphorylation reflects upstream kinase activity triggered by inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress, UV exposure, and other cellular insults that converge on JNK and p38 signaling. The reagent is formulated as an equivalent to the well-characterized Abcam reference antibody ab39403.

Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as an unconjugated rabbit IgG, polyclonal, in a 50 µl volume. Store refrigerated for short-term use; for longer retention, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody activity. Phosphatase inhibitors should be included in lysis buffers to maintain the S80 phospho-epitope.

In Western blot, the antibody detects a band consistent with the expected molecular weight of MAP2K4.
