Offered by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase and is supplied at the 50 µl pack size at a formulated concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of human MAP2K1 and purified by affinity chromatography using the immunogen, yielding a clean, unconjugated preparation that is free of fluorophore or enzyme tags. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows, where it is reported to detect the endogenous level of total MAP2K1 protein across human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species signalling studies in cell and tissue lysates. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, with the antibody supplied in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
