Anti-MAP2K1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises MAP2K1, also referred to as MEK1. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human MEK1 (NP_002746.1). It is affinity purified and presented as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The target protein migrates at approximately 46 kDa.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:100 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for storage at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
