Anti-MAP2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against MAP2 and validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-118 of human MAP2 (NP_002365.3). The antibody has been cited in 4 publications, including studies on Parkinson's disease neurovascular pathology and on amyloid-β oligomer effects on hippocampal synaptic transmission in Alzheimer's disease.

Affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, the reagent detects MAP2 at reported molecular weights of 75 kDa and 280 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000, IHC: 1:50-1:200 and ICC/IF: 1:50-1:200. The product ships at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
