This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets Microtubule-Associated Protein 2 (Map2), a neuron-enriched cytoskeletal protein that localizes predominantly to dendrites and is widely used as a marker of neuronal differentiation and dendritic architecture. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 200 µl liquid aliquot in unconjugated format, the reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) workflows on samples from human and mouse origin. Map2 stabilizes microtubules in the somatodendritic compartment and supports dendritic arborization, which is why antibodies against this target are routine tools in neuroscience research investigating neuronal development, cytoskeletal organization, and CNS disease models. Each lot is produced in rabbit host, prepared as a polyclonal IgG, and provided ready to use for standard immunoblotting protocols.
