Mannosidase endoplasmic reticulum alpha (MANEA), also called endo-alpha-mannosidase, is a glycoside hydrolase family 99 enzyme that trims glucose residues from misfolded N-glycoproteins through an ERAD route independent of ER glucosidases I and II.
Antibodies.com supplies this unconjugated Rabbit IgG polyclonal primary antibody against human MANEA, provided as 100 µl and validated for Western blot (WB) detection in human cell lysates. Researchers use the reagent to investigate calnexin-calreticulin cycle bypass, glycoprotein quality control, and processing of viral envelope glycoproteins.
For routine handling, aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store refrigerated, and protect from light. This single-use vial is intended for research use only and supports in vitro studies of N-glycan processing and protein folding in the endoplasmic reticulum.
