Anti-MAN2A1 Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit against MAN2A1, the gene encoding Mannosidase II. The antibody is supplied as a liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated with an IgG isotype. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 865–1144 of human MAN2A1 (accession NP_002363.2). The target migrates in the 131 – 170 kDa range. Storage instructions specify shipping at 4 °C, aliquoting on arrival, and long-term storage at –20 °C with avoidance of freeze/thaw cycles. The reagent is affinity purified and the concentration is reported as lot specific.

For Western blotting, the manufacturer recommends a working dilution of 1:1,000 – 1:2,000, and the product is supported by validation data from extracts of various cell lines. In those experiments the secondary antibody was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) used at 1:10,000, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, and an ECL Basic Kit for detection (1 s exposure).
