Supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this Protein A purified mouse monoclonal reagent targets the histidine-rich protein 2 (HRP-2) antigen of Plasmodium falciparum, the causative agent of malaria. Produced in mouse hosts as a monoclonal IgG1 isotype and supplied in an unconjugated format, the antibody is presented at a 1 mg pack size and is recommended for use in ELISA and Western blot (WB) workflows. Its Protein A purification yields a high-purity immunoglobulin fraction suitable for sensitive detection assays, while the unconjugated form gives researchers flexibility to conjugate the reagent themselves or to use it as a capture or detection antibody in matched-pair ELISA configurations. Reactivity is directed specifically against Plasmodium falciparum HRP-2, making the reagent well suited to malaria antigen detection and serology studies. For storage and stability, the lyophilized/purified monoclonal should be handled according to standard antibody storage recommendations, typically at2–8 °C for short-term use and –20 °C for longer-term storage, with aliquots made to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Each lot is intended for research use only, and the product is supplied through AFMS as part of the Antibodies.com Primary Antibodies portfolio.
