Anti-MAGEA6 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against MAGEA6, a cancer-testis antigen of the MAGE-A subfamily that is normally restricted to germline tissues but becomes aberrantly expressed in multiple solid tumours, including melanoma, lung, breast, and head-and-neck cancers. The unconjugated antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, this reagent supports studies of tumour biology, antigen re-expression in cancer cell lines, and investigations into MAGE-A family regulation. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage than monoclonal alternatives, which can be helpful when probing conformational epitopes or when MAGEA6 expression levels are low.
