Prepared by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against MAD2L1 Binding Protein (MAD2L1BP), this unconjugated primary antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Each vial contains 100 µl of ready-to-use stock suitable for western blot (WB) workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting reproducible detection of the mitotic checkpoint regulator in cell cycle research.

MAD2L1BP, also referred to as p31(comet) or MAD2B, is a negative regulator of the spindle assembly checkpoint that recruits the AAA+ ATPase TRIP13 to catalyze conformational remodeling of MAD2, promoting timely mitotic exit and faithful chromosome segregation. Polyclonal reactivity across multiple species makes this reagent useful for comparative studies of checkpoint silencing, aneuploidy mechanisms, and chromosomal instability in cancer cell lines.

For best results, store the vial at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light. Centrifuge briefly before opening and handle using standard laboratory safety practices given the azide-containing buffer.
