Anti-MAD2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the mitotic arrest deficient 2 (MAD2) protein and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific peptide derived from the internal region of human MAD2, ensuring selective recognition of endogenous MAD2 levels in validated applications. It is unconjugated and intended for use in Western blotting (recommended dilution 1:500–1:2000) and ELISA (recommended dilution 1:5000); other applications have not yet been tested. Reactivity has been confirmed for human samples, making it well suited for cell-cycle, checkpoint and cancer-research workflows that probe the spindle-assembly machinery. As a polyclonal reagent produced in rabbit, it offers broad epitope coverage that can improve signal robustness across denatured and partially folded targets. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity and reproducibility across repeated experiments.
