Anti-M-CSF Antibody [21]

From Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a mouse monoclonal (clone 21) IgG2a reagent directed against human Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (M-CSF). It is supplied unconjugated and in lyophilised form, validated for ELISA applications.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody specifically recognises human M-CSF, with the immunogen prepared from purified recombinant human M-CSF. Cross-reactivity testing indicates the reagent does not recognise BSA, IL-1ß, IL-8, IL-16, EGF, G-CSFR, GM-CSF, MCP-1, MCP-3, TGF-ß and TNF-a. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2, the antibody is shipped at 4°C. On arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze / thaw cycles avoided. The lyophilised material is reconstituted with double distilled water, with concentration described as reconstitution dependent.
