Anti-M-CSF Antibody [21]

This unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com (clone 21) is raised against human Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (M-CSF), a homodimeric glycoprotein cytokine also known as CSF1 that drives the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of monocytes, macrophages, and their bone-marrow progenitors. The reagent is of the IgG2a isotype, supplied lyophilised at 100 µg per vial, and validated for ELISA. M-CSF exerts its biological effects through the CSF1 receptor (CSF1R / CD115) on cells of the mononuclear phagocyte system, influencing innate immunity, tissue remodelling, and osteoclast formation. In research settings, the antibody is used to detect and quantify M-CSF in cell culture supernatants and in samples of human origin, supporting studies of inflammation, haematopoiesis, and macrophage biology.
