LZTFL1, the leucine zipper transcription factor-like 1 protein that localizes to the basal body of primary cilia and regulates intraflagellar transport, can be detected in human samples with this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum raised in rabbit, the antibody is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence. LZTFL1 has emerged as a tumor-suppressor candidate in epithelial cancers and was recently identified as a 3p21.31 susceptibility locus for severe respiratory infection, making it valuable for signaling-pathway studies, ciliopathy research, and host-factor genetics. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes across the target, supporting detection in both overexpression systems and endogenous expression panels.
