Anti-LYN Antibody

Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against the Lyn kinase, offered by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies range. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and has been validated for Western blot applications. It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-240 of human Lyn (NP_002341.1). The reported molecular weight of Lyn is 55 kDa. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and the concentration is lot specific. It is purified by affinity purification.

For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:500-1:2,000 is suggested. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
