The Antibodies.com Anti-Lymphotoxin alpha polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize the LTA cytokine (also known as TNF-beta, TNFSF1), a member of the TNF ligand superfamily that signals through TNFR1, TNFR2, and the LTβR. The reagent detects the ~25 kDa secreted form of human LTA and is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry, with confirmed reactivity on human and rat samples. Supplied as a liquid IgG preparation at 100 µg per vial, it is unconjugated and can be paired with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents for custom detection workflows. For optimal stability, aliquot and store at -20°C in working volumes, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Recommended research applications include probing LTA expression in activated lymphocytes, inflamed tissue sections, and recombinant cytokine production studies relevant to inflammation and lymphoid organogenesis.
