Anti-LYL1 Antibody

Prepared in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes the LYL1 transcription factor (Lymphoblastic Leukemia 1), a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) protein of approximately 28 kDa that guides hematopoietic lineage commitment and is recurrently implicated in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia through the t(7;19)(q35;p13) chromosomal translocation.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at roughly pH 7.3, and is intended for in vitro western blot (WB) detection of endogenous LYL1 in lysates derived from human, mouse and rat tissues and cell lines.

For handling, refrigerate short-term at 4°C, store frozen at -20°C for longer retention, and aliquot upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the active solution. The 0.05% sodium azide functions as a preservative, so gloves and adequate ventilation are recommended when the vial is opened.
