Anti-LY96 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets LY96 (also called MD-2), an extracellular accessory glycoprotein required for TLR4-mediated recognition of bacterial lipopolysaccharide. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, giving a stable working reagent that tolerates routine freeze-thaw handling in the lab.

Validated applications include Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and the antibody has been confirmed to react with LY96 orthologs in human, mouse, and rat samples. Because LY96 chaperones TLR4 to the plasma membrane and engages LPS before TLR4 dimerization, the reagent is commonly used to interrogate innate immune signaling, gram-negative endotoxin responses, sepsis models, and myeloid or epithelial expression patterns in tissue sections.
