Anti-LY9 Antibody

Raised in rabbits by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent targets the LY9 lymphocyte antigen, a cell-surface glycoprotein of the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family also known as CD229. The antibody recognizes both the human and murine LY9 protein in Western blot workflows and is supplied as 50 µL of liquid antiserum for research use only. LY9 is broadly expressed across T and B lymphocyte lineages as well as NK cells, where it mediates homophilic adhesion and contributes to signaling through immunoreceptor tyrosine-based switch motifs. Researchers investigating SLAM-family receptor biology, lymphocyte costimulation, and immune cell communication can apply this reagent to whole-cell lysates from human and mouse lymphoid samples to examine LY9 expression levels and protein interactions.
