Anti-LY9 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets LY9, a 120 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the SLAM family of lymphocyte signaling receptors (also known as CD229 or SLAMF3). Produced by Antibodies.com, the antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot and is validated for Western Blot detection of LY9 in both human and mouse samples. LY9 is expressed on the surface of T cells, B cells, NK cells, and thymocytes, where it recruits SAP-family adaptors and modulates homotypic cell-cell adhesion during immune synapse formation. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the LY9 cytoplasmic tail, making it useful for probing changes in total receptor expression during lymphocyte activation, germinal center reactions, or models of autoimmune disease.
