Anti-LTBP-4 Antibody

Generated in rabbit hosts, this polyclonal reagent targets latent transforming growth factor beta binding protein 4 (LTBP-4), an extracellular matrix glycoprotein encoded by the LTBP4 locus on human chromosome 19. LTBP-4 assists in the secretion and microfibril deposition of TGF-β1, and loss-of-function mutations are linked to Urban-Rifkin-Davis syndrome, a connective tissue disorder characterized by cutis laxa, pulmonary emphysema, and diaphragmatic weakness.
