Anti-LSM1 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets LSM1, a cytoplasmic RNA-binding protein that participates in mRNA decapping and 5'-to-3' exonucleolytic decay as a member of the Lsm1-7 ring complex. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and the standard 100 µl pack size is sufficient for routine blotting panels of human cell lysates. Western blot (WB) is the validated application, where the reagent recognizes endogenous human LSM1 at its expected mobility on reduced SDS-PAGE gels. Store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock, and dilute only the portion needed on the day of blotting; the sodium azide present in the buffer is not compatible with live-cell staining or with assays requiring amine-reactive conjugation downstream.
