Anti-LRRTM1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-LRRTM1 polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified for selective detection of the leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal 1 protein in human and mouse samples. LRRTM1 is a single-pass type I cell-adhesion molecule that localizes to excitatory postsynaptic sites, where it promotes synapse differentiation and the clustering of PSD-95 with AMPA receptor subunits in cortical and hippocampal neurons. Supplied unconjugated as a 200 µl liquid aliquot of IgG, the reagent is validated for Western blot analysis of brain lysates and for immunohistochemistry on cryosections or formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, supporting neuroscience research into synaptic organization, neural circuit wiring, and the candidate susceptibility role of LRRTM1 in neuropsychiatric phenotypes.
