Anti-LRP4 Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit IgG antibody targeting LRP4 (Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 4), supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated reagent validated for Western Blot applications. The antibody was raised in rabbit and is reactive against human and mouse LRP4, supporting cross-species immunodetection in cell lysate and tissue homogenate workflows.

LRP4 functions as a key co-receptor at the neuromuscular junction, where it binds agrin and coordinates MuSK activation to drive acetylcholine receptor clustering. It also participates in canonical Wnt signaling and skeletal development, and is implicated in congenital myasthenic syndrome, Schwartz-Jampel syndrome type 2, Cenani-Lenz syndactyly, and certain myasthenia gravis presentations in which circulating autoantibodies target LRP4. Investigators studying synaptic differentiation, motor endplate organization, or LRP4-mediated bone signaling use this primary antibody to probe endogenous protein levels in transfected cells and native tissue samples.
