Anti-LRAT Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets LRAT (lecithin retinol acyltransferase), the enzyme also termed phosphatidylcholine–retinol O-acyltransferase, and is offered in a 50 µl format. The antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a PBS-based formulation (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide as preservative, and the IgG has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human LRAT). It is unconjugated, validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence, and shows reactivity across human, mouse, and rat samples, detecting endogenous levels of total LRAT protein. The product is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
